Originally born in the states, Elizabeth and her family moved to a little town in the South Island, Ōamaru.
In her childhood she connected with the natural scapes of both the seasonal desert of Utah, and the coastal gems of Aotearoa. She also found herself drawn to craft and create with found materials and art supplies.
Elizabeth went on to study a Bachelor of Design with Honours at Toi Rauwhārangi, Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa. During her studies she grew to merge the design specialisations of spatial, visual, and tangible design. Looking to facilitate particular experiences for varying contexts and participants.
Her passions lie within the realm of critical design theory, interactivity, and physical craft. Through her mahi, Elizabeth sets out to create offerings that uplift local communities and ecologies found in Aotearoa.
